Recognised as one of Australia’s finest singers, Lily Dior has shared the stage with outstanding musicians. performing atAustralia’s best venues inc; The Opera House Concert Hall, The State Theatre, Sydney Town Hall and The Domain. She is also an experienced radio personality and host of The Freedman Fellowship Jazz Awards.
Returning to her London roots in 2014, Lily has established herself as an in demand performer appearing at iconic jazz venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The 606 Club and Pizza Express Soho.
Her debut album ‘Invitation’ released by the ABC, received universal praise and put Lily firmly on the Australian music map.

Jason has a vibrant passion for music, bringing flair and creativity to all his musical projects: he is a true flying tie!
Starting at age 6 and learning his craft from youth jazz bands and music college, he is now a familiar face and in-demand bass player on the London jazz / rock / world music scene. Jason has played across Europe in a variety of venues and works regularly in the top recording studios in London. Playing both electric and double bass Jason can accommodate a variety of styles –from Rock to Bossa Nova to Be-Bop.
Liam is a guitarist/ singer /songwriter who has been London based for 8 years.
Previously he enjoyed a varied career in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as touring regional Australia with various groups from folk to country to pop.
Now at home in London, he has degree (BMUS) from Goldsmiths and works regularly as a freelance musician and tutor in a variety of styles.

Saul has enjoyed an extensive career as a musician in theatre, bands, instrument building and education. He has performed all over the world in a variety of venues/theatres and amazing site specific locations, from intimate michelin star restaurants to 15000 capacity arenas. He brings this experience to the forte in creating the good vibes of the Flying Ties.

Phil Manley-Reeve started playing bass aged fourteen. By sixteen he was employed with various bands in the Working-men’s club circuit in the north east of England. He then moved to London a few years later and played and recorded with numerous original and commercial bands ranging in style from rock, pop, funk, salsa to jazz. He attended The Bass School in London Bridge, ultimately becoming a teacher, and was then recruited as part of a team of UK musicians to play and record in Japan and Australia for one year.
He currently holds the bass chair in the Mo Jazz Orchestra, an 18 piece jazz big band, as well as having a weekly residency in the house band at a North London jazz jam session and playing with different bands and recording artists when called upon. When not playing or teaching Phil helps to provide touring bands with all their needs while working with one of the capital’s top musical equipment hire companies.
He plays: Warwick, Dingwall and Overwater basses and uses Markbass amps and Vanderkley cabinets.
Kate Threfall is a soulful young singer-songwriter from Manchester. Raised in a family of musicians, she takes her
influences from the greats of Soul, Jazz and Pop;blending vulnerable honesty with fearless vocals. She has enjoyed performing recently at Ronnie Scott’s, Kensington Roof Gardens and Alexander’s Chester as well as winning UK Jazz Radio’s Best Vocalist Award. Kate has been featured on Jazz FM’s Discovery Show and was a finalist in The Online Music Awards. Kate is a regular on the London Prvt members clubs and hotel circuit. both as a solo artist and in demand vocalist for various quality event bands.

Belle Humble is an accomplished singer/songwriter/composer and performer. Belle discovered a natural flair for jazz at the age of 13 and quickly developed a strong sense of song-craft and harmony. She busies herself as a writer and singer for producers and artists off the back of her own profile as a performer and songwriter. She has won numerous awards, and co wrote the song ‘Upside down’ for Paloma Faith. and chart hits for flux pavilion. Belle continues to write and perform her own material as well as singing in the Flying Ties.
